Alan Weedon is a journalist and photographer specialising in design and social history.

Most recently, he was an audio producer at ABC Radio National, the talks and ideas network of Australia's public-service broadcaster, the ABC. There, he produced daily and weekly programmes for RN, including its live panels program, Big Ideas, and arts shows including Blueprint For Living, Return Ticket, The Art Show.

Prior to RN, Alan was a multi-platform journalist for the ABC’s 24-hour Asia Pacific Newsroom.

Alan also pursues a photographic practice. His photographic work is held in private collections, and has twice been a finalist in the Australian National Portrait Gallery’s National Portrait Prize. His previous photography clients are found below.

He is now based in London.
